"Screw Business As Usual"
Recently I read a book titled “Screw Business as Usual,” by Sir Richard Branson. His premise is that if we are going to live authentic lives, we are going to have to change the way in which we get things done!
As business owners, we are pushed to the max more than ever before; burning the candle at both ends just to keep our businesses, families and ourselves together. It’s not always a happy road and sometimes it doesn’t even feel fulfilling. And darling, that just sucks.
But it doesn’t have to feel that dire. Sometimes making your first dollar, closing your next consult, or simply finding your authentic soulful sales voice will give you the boost you need in business and provide some extra pep in your in life.
And yes — a sales coach can truly help you.
There are many amazing business coaches in the online world, but all too often I see one crucial skill set being overlooked — selling. I know the word “sales” can strike fear into the heart of online business owners; but it does not have to feel scary, icky or pushy. You must learn to find your authentic voice and articulate that what you deliver is priceless in today’s world. You can learn to overcome money and lack of time objections in a comfortable empathetic way. Sound impossible? It’s not. You can easily learn what to say without fumbling through your message.
