Relationships can take many forms:
- It’s complicated
But nothing embodies “it’s complicated” quite like our relationship with social media.
I’ve experienced a tumultuous and toxic journey with social media in the past. Initially, I adored it – back in the distant past when social media was fresh and exciting.
However, something shifted around 2019. I received advice that I was using social media incorrectly and that my business wouldn’t thrive if I continued on the same path.
That single sentence punctured my confidence in social media for the next five years.
It was absurd. I was achieving multimillion-dollar sales, and I genuinely enjoyed social media – and the people I had the pleasure of meeting….incredible individuals like you!
Yet, I allowed my relationship with social media to go downhill fast:
- Everyone else seemed more attractive…
- I despised reels, but everyone else was doing them…
- Others appeared more youthful…
- My posts seemed boring, mundane, uninspiring, and DULL…
I’m honored to share today with you. Today is the day I am shedding the limiting beliefs of “not good enough,” “too old,” and “boring” that have held me back.
It’s time for both of us to rediscover or find your match with social media.
When we have love/hate or even a hate/hate relationship with social media, we risk falling into the “Online Marketing Paradox.”
The Online Marketing Paradox suggests that if something doesn’t feel right, it’s not meant for you. But let’s be honest, the ones peddling this philosophy make icky, sleazy, slimy sales tactics look ethical.
While I wish I could promise that you’ll always fall in love with every marketing tactic, I’m thrilled to tell you that you can find a match with what works for you on social…let’s do it together shall we?
No more ticking all the boxes across every platform. Let’s embrace a “More in 24” approach, exploring new methods filled with the things we love. Together, let’s discover our perfect match in social media.
I believe in you, and I believe in your business,
